What I Hope to Read in 2014

{Pre-written and scheduled post.}

I’m so excited to read more this year! Here’s what I’m hoping to get through in 2014. Many of these are available for $4 or less in Kindle format, or as used books (see links).

Crazy Busy: A (Mercifully) Short Book about a (Really) Big Problem by Kevin DeYoung
Loving God with All Your Mind by Elizabeth George (started in 2012, never finished)
Creative Counterpart by Linda Dillow (partway through this with my mom)
A Gospel Primer for Christians by Milton Vincent (reading with Andrew)
Trusting God: Even When Life Hurts by Jerry Bridges
Love Into Light: The Gospel, the Homosexual and the Church by Peter Hubbard
God’s Priorities for Today’s Woman by Lisa Hughes (I have a few chapters left)
Glimpses of Grace: Treasuring the Gospel in Your Home by Gloria Furman
Marriage Matters: Extraordinary Change through Ordinary Moments by Winston Smith
Unbroken: A World War II Story by Laura Hillenbrand
I Will Carry You: The Sacred Dance of Grief and Joy by Angie Smith
For Women Only: What You Need to Know about the Inner Lives of Men by Shaunti Feldhahn
A Quest for More: Living for Something Bigger than You by Paul David Tripp
40 Days for Life: Discover What God Has Done by David Bereit and Shawn Carney

Here’s wish list of “fun books”. I hope to borrow all of these as audio books from the library. Audio books make chores a blast! =)

Divergent by Veronica Roth (listened to part before I had to return it to the library)
Insurgent by Veronica Roth
Allegiant by Veronica Roth
The Book Thief by Markus Zusak
The Maze Runner by James Dashner
Crossed (Matched Series) by Allie Condie
